Custom Tech Solutions Inc Account Manager Scam
Heads up Job Seekers! Beware of recruiting emails claiming to come from Custom Tech Solutions Inc in Pennsylvania offering an Account Manager position!
2 websites hosted in Germany, customtechsolutionspa.com and customtechsolutionsinpa.com was just registered on 11/11/15 for one year to someone named Griffith Chris, 75 Rittenhouse Place, Ardmore PA and Griffith C, 72 Rittenhouse Place, Ardmore PA respectively. Below is a screenshot of the website used on both.
The business address listed on the website is 75 Rittenhouse Place, Ardmore, PA 19003. Phone # (610) 440-3827. Below is a screenshot of that actual location which appears to be an apartment building:
Stolen Identity Of The Former CEO-Founder
Chris Griffith was the founder and CEO of Custom Tech Solutions Inc until September 2006 and although according to the State Of Pennsylvania Incorporation Records the entity is still in his name, but it’s registered to the address 544 Summit House in West Chester Pa. However, according to his Linkedin profile he is currently the CTO and Co-Founder of White Label Communications LLC and is no longer associated with Custom Tech Solutions:
CEO/Founder
Custom Tech Solutions, Inc.
October 2001 – September 2006 (5 years)
In the early days of his career Chris founded Custom Tech Solutions Inc. A small technology consulting firm serving the Philadelphia region. The focus of Custom Tech Solutions was in business continuity as well as security solutions in the Healthcare Industry, targeting and working within the strict HIPAA compliance regulations. Custom Tech Solutions sustained rapid growth year after year until the company was acquired in late 2006.
Therefore the name and address used on both whois records for customtechsolutionspa.com and customtechsolutionsinpa.com are bogus and his identity was stolen to make these registrations appear legitimate!

Don’t be fooled! Scammers often steal the credentials of a legitimate business to dupe potential victims! This Account Manager position is not a legitimate job, it is nothing more than a money mule operation in order to get their hands on stolen money..that will end up coming out of YOUR pocket to pay back once the funds you wired overseas are discovered to be stolen or fake! You could even be prosecuted!
What To Do If You Are A Victim
If you have fell victim to an employment scam like this, you need to contact your bank immediately and close your account IF you have provided your account information to the scammers. Next file a police report with your local authorities and then file a complaint with the FBI’s internet crime center at http://www.ic3.gov/
If you provided your personal information like ss # birthdate etc , you need to contact the 3 credit bureaus- TransUnion, Equifax and Experian, and place a fraud alert on your report. These criminals can steal your identity and may try and obtain credit in your name. Doing this will alert you for at least 90 days about any suspicious activity.
In the hands of a thief, just your name, address, Social Security number or date of birth, can be used over and over months- even years down the road to:
Open new lines of credit
Seek medical attention
Drain savings and retirement accounts
Provide an alias when arrested
Get a job or file false tax returns
Get Payday Loans in your name
Obtain service agreements for cellular service or utilities
Obtain Government Documents such as a drivers license or passport
And MORE!
That’s why I highly recommend you get some sort of ongoing identity theft protection such as the services offered through companies like LifeLock-Visit Their Website Here! LifeLock is a reputable company that monitors your accounts and alerts and protects you from identity theft.

I wish I had saw this alert earlier I actually unfortunately fell for the scam and only recently become suspicious when I was never assignedI any official job duties and any training for the position.
I hope you didn’t give them any of your personal details!?
Unfortunately I did, especially after checking with the BBB and receiving a good rating I have filed a complaint with the FBI and closed all accounts.
I’m so sorry! While google is great for finding information you’re looking for, unfortunately a lot of information isn’t always accurate or up to date and the scammers know that. These criminals do their homework thoroughly before they even register the website name. Unfortunately Businesses close down and fail to notify the BBB and all the various business directories they are listed in and that just leaves them wide open targets for scams like this.
Thank you!!! My wife is looking for a job and this is the 2nd scam she almost fell victim to. Until I found this site, I was starting to wonder if it was legit. They had a positive rating with the BBB but then I thought it was strange that website offering search engine optimization to customers wasn’t coming up on bing or google searches.
Anyhow, thank you for all your research and time. Much appreciated.
Thank you for your comment and you are so welcome!
OMG THANK YOU ! I was doubtful but then again I sounded too good. I was gonna believe it cause I worked from home before but this was more money. I just got hired for a new real job and was not gonna take on that job for this smh ha oh boy ! I got all the way to them asking for the w4 and bank account information and thats when I decided to do more searching so THANK YOU !!!! You saved me !
You’re so welcome! I’m so glad you found us before you gave them your info!
Update from last comment. Sent them a reply email stating that I had decided not to go any farther seeking employment which went unanswered.
Just had a phone call from supposedly from Ryan Green to conduct a phone interview with me.
1st tried to call me on my home phone line and the caller ID showed as: ellen.sims41 and then tried to reach me on my cell phone and ID showed as: 610-440-3827.
Thank you for the update. They’ll set up a throwaway phone # with a voicemail message that usually answers if you call it to appear legit and then use it for the phone interview and then during the scam itself to make sure the mules are following their instructions, withdrawing the cash and pushing them for the western union/moneygram reference numbers as soon as they wire the money.
It’s best to never to tell the scammers you were warned here because they can quickly change the company name, set up a new website address and change their names in order to get victims who won’t be able to find any info. It just makes it harder to find the scammers and expose their scam since there are thousands of new websites registered everyday.
Add me to your list of those who say thanks for the warning. I’ve been contacted as well with the same form email offering employment.
They sent me an initial employment agreement contract to fill out first. Next I just received the hook paperwork like w-4 forms and the kicker form asking for the bank information.
Glad you posted the warning as it confirmed what I was suspecting.
You are so welcome! So glad you were one of the lucky ones that didn’t fall for this scam. Unfortunately there’s usually always some who will. 🙁
I’m glad you posted this because I knew it was too good to be true. They had a website posted in the email (EmploymentSolutionsCo.com) that I received that didn’t even work and they did not even identify which job site that they got my information from. I didn’t give out any personal information yet luckily. Only the information they already had.
Yes it’s a scam! I got the same email. Below is their contract agreement concerning bank deposit before hiring.
