Samuel Gold is the same name used on a Customer Service Contractor Agreement connected to a previous money mule scam operating in Dec 2013 at http://innovatconstruction.com, using a business address as 6050 Nadmar Ave Boca Raton FL 33434 Tel: (561) 288-0611 Fax: (888) 257-6248. You can see the contracter agreement at https://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=79775
The whois history on http://innovatconstruction.com showed that domain was registered to a Sergey Smirnov in Moscow Russia! That website is no longer online, however it appears these scammers just registered the same name in a slightly different format, and used a US name and address (probably someones stolen identity) to register it under.
What To Do If You Are A Victim
If you have fell victim to an employment scam, you need to contact your bank immediately and close your account IF you have provided this information to the scammers. Next file a police report with your local authorities and then file a complaint with the FBI’s internet crime center at http://www.ic3.gov/
If you provided your Social Security number to them, you need to contact the 3 credit bureaus- TransUnion, Equifax and Experian, and place a fraud alert on your report. They can steal your identity and may try and obtain credit in your name, register scam websites etc. This will alert you for at least 90 days about any suspicious activity. I highly recommend you get some sort of identity protection such as the services offered through companies like LifeLock-Visit Their Website Here!
Have you received a suspicious email offering you a “job” you never applied for? Feel free to copy and paste the email in the comments so we can help alert and prevent others from becoming victims.
