Remmert-Escrow.Com And Remmert-Defence.Com Employment Scam
Several weeks back we reported 3 identical and fraudulent websites at schneiderescrow.com, schneidersafety.com and schneiderdefense.com. You can read that article here: Beware Of Schneider Safe Escrow Services Fraud Employment Offers!
Now we have discovered 2 new websites that are carbon copies of the Schneider websites, only under a different name; Remmert-Escrow.Com and Remmert-Defence.Com. Remmert-escrow.com was just registered for 1 year only on June, 9 2016 to someone named Garcia Barb, 2407 Ashmor Drive, Cohasset, Mn 55721 using the email address BarbDGarcia@grr.la ( a Disposable Temporary E-Mail Address). Remmert-Defence.Com was also registered for 1 year only on June 9, 2016 to someone named Poole Brandy, 670 Worley Avenue, Hurt, WJ 24563 (area code is actually for Hurt, West Virginia) e-mail address: BrandyLPoole@grr.la (disposable email same as the other).
Updated 6/30/16! There are at least 2 more websites that has been created on 6/18/16, Remmert-trust.com and Remmert-safe.com..so beware!
The business address on both websites is listed as Remmert Inc. 10 S Cole Rd, Boise, ID 83709, Phone# +1 (855) 850-6121. And as we usually discover, there is no business by that name that can be found at that address. Below is a screenshot of the Remmert-escrow.com website which is identical to Remmert-defence.com.
They have the same 3 job openings on the career page as the Schneider Escrow websites had as well as the exact same so-called 4- step “Employment Process”! BEWARE!

Just like the Schneider scam, the emphasis is on international “transactions” with customers and clients along with the “too good to be true” high salaries and the 4 step hiring process that is almost identical to the process of all the previous work from home money mule job scams we have warned our readers about in the past.
Again, They may be sending out phishing emails that may appear to come from an employment agency to generate interest and responses and then follow up with the actual bogus job offer.
What To Do If You Are A Victim
If you have fell victim to an employment scam like this, you need to contact your bank immediately and close your account IF you have provided your account information to the scammers. Next file a police report with your local authorities and then file a complaint with the FBI’s internet crime center at http://www.ic3.gov/
If you provided your personal information like your social security #, birthdate etc , you need to contact the 3 credit bureaus- TransUnion, Equifax and Experian, and place a fraud alert on your credit report. These criminals can steal your identity and may try and obtain credit in your name. Doing this will alert you for at least 90 days about any suspicious activity.
In the hands of a thief, just your name, address, Social Security number or date of birth, can be used over and over months- even years down the road to:
Open new lines of credit
Seek medical attention
Drain savings and retirement accounts
Provide an alias when arrested
Get a job or file false tax returns
Get Payday Loans in your name
Obtain service agreements for cellular service or utilities
Obtain Government Documents such as a drivers license or passport
And MORE!
That’s why I highly recommend you get some sort of ongoing identity theft protection such as the services offered through companies like LifeLock-Visit Their Website Here or Identity Force-visit their website here! LifeLock and Identity Force are both reputable companies that monitors your accounts and alerts and protects you from identity theft.

Just got a message from Remmert-Trust who also sent me information being R&R Delivery. They will indeed send their company policy after a phone call from their rep asking you to send a photo of yourself holding your drivers license(which I didn’t send). I never sought out this company. I’m sure they found my resume online possibly Careerbuilder. The initial message is as follows:

Hi-This Remmert Co. has my name, address, phone #, e-mail and resume from career builder.com. I also forwarded another copy of the resume when they emailed me about the Administrative Asst. job. They do not have any other personal info on me. Do you think I need to do the fraud alert with the credit bureaus?

Mark you should be ok as long as there wasn’t any personal details on your resume such as birthdate, ss# etc. that they could steal and use.
Do you still have the email Remmert sent to you? If so could you copy and paste it here in the comments? Include the senders name and email address but omit your email address of course.
