WFCS USA, LLC Reshipping-Pkg Forwarding Job Scam
Beware of a new reshipping/Pkg forwarding job offer scam from someone using the name Steven Price and claiming to represent a (fake) company called WFCS USA, LLC!
The website, wfcsusa.com was just registered 4/4/16 for one year to someone named Mihail M Kozlov with a “FAKE” non-existent address: 149 Main St, Florida, NA 12341, phone # +1.8881919189 and email address: mishenka.petrov.85@mail.ru. (Per Google, “Mail.Ru Group is a Russian Internet company headquartered in Moscow for the Russian speaking segment of the Internet.”) Below is a screenshot of the website:
The business address shown on the website is 411 Walnut St, Unit 8254 Green CV SPGS, FL 32043 United States
which is actually a mail forwarding service/virtual mailing address company called St Brendans Isle! Read more about this company here: https://www.sbimailservice.com/how_it_works.htm. The phone # on the website is +1 (888) 385-32-08. Scammers are using companies like these more and more under the assumption that it makes their fake business appear legitimate to unsuspecting victims since it provides an actual mailing address for them to use.
The scammers also registered 2 other domains (for one year only on 4/3/16 also), wfcsusa.net (which they are using for sending the recruiting emails) and wfcsusa.org (possibly also being used for sending emails)!
In the initial recruiting email he is claiming their “HR Managers” discovered the job seeker/potential victims’ work experience on CareerBuilder and request they apply for an Аdministrativе Аssistant vacancy they have.
Here is a copy of the email:

APPLY NOW
Notice how the offer changed from a “Mid-Level Management position as an Аdministrativе Аssistant” with “аn 8 hоur shift, 5 dауs реr wееk with “paу that starts with $12.5 per hour”, to the REAL offer which is a “Forwarding agent” with a “Salary” of $2,500 / Month! Also notice the word mis-spellings and grammar errors in the emails and the job description as well as mentioning “CV” instead of “Resume”, which is usually always a good sign they were written by someone in a foreign country. A legitimate American based business will never use the term CV (which is an abbreviation for Curriculum Vitae)!
Keep in mind that if you accept any work from home job offer that requires you to accept packages/parcels at your home to relabel and reship elsewhere, that you may be accepting and re-shipping items to criminals that was purchased with stolen credit card information and you may not be paid a dime and if you do get paid the check will probably be fake. What’s worse is you could be prosecuted for receiving stolen goods and/or mail fraud since the stolen items are being sent to your home! DON’T be a victim!
REPORT MAIL FRAUD!
If you believe you’re a victim of a re-shipping/forwarding scam, file a complaint with Postal Inspectors online or call Postal Inspectors at 1-877-876-2455 (option 4, Mail Fraud).
Also report the scam at http://ic3.gov which is the official site working in conjunction with the FBI to help stop internet crime.
If you provided any personal details such as birthdate or Social Security number to the scammers, you need to contact the 3 credit bureaus- TransUnion, Equifax and Experian, and place a fraud alert on your report. They can steal your identity and may try and obtain credit in your name. This will alert you for at least 90 days about any suspicious activity.
In the hands of a thief your personal information can be used over and over months- even years down the road to:
Open new lines of credit
Seek medical attention
Drain savings and retirement accounts
Provide an alias when arrested
Get a job or file false tax returns
Get Payday Loans in your name
Obtain service agreements for cellular service or utilities
Obtain Government Documents such as a drivers license or passport
And MORE!
That’s why I highly recommend you get some sort of ongoing identity theft protection such as the services offered through companies like LifeLock-Visit Their Website Here or Identity Force-visit their website here!
LifeLock and Identity Force are both reputable companies that monitors your accounts and alerts and protects you from identity theft.
Have you received a suspicious email offering you a “job” you never applied for? Feel free to copy and paste the email in the comments so we can help alert and prevent others from becoming victims.
Sent them my name and birth date can they steal my ID with just those?
It’s certainly a possibility! Especially when you least expect it and in ways we may not even realize! Personal information in the wrong hands can come back to bite you eventually.
how do i report it
There are links in the article above under “Report Mail Fraud”, for both the Postal Inspector’s website and the FBI’s ic3.gov website to report and file complaints if you have been victimized by this scam.
