UPDATED 6/15/15! Continental-transit.com is now redirecting visitors to http://ct-comp.com!
They have gone to some great lengths to make this job offer appear legitimate unlike others we have seen in the past. This scam actually sends potential interested employees to a website at http://ct-webappl.org to “apply” for the position. Notice it has a .org extension to make it appear more on the up and up. Here’s where it get’s really interesting. Here’s a screenshot of this site:
First of all, the top part of this page is actually a “frame” which visitors see a different website address below it. The actual website that the potential employee will be entering their details on is http://ct-application-form.com/Distribution-Manager and the frame above it in grey is http://webhosting.yahoo.com/forward.html. Therefore to the unsuspecting applicant, this website appears to be http://ct-webappl.org.
According to the whois information, http://ct-webappl.org is registered to someone named Tim Davis under the organization name: ctwebapplication and the address given is a residence at 232 KRISTI LN SYLACAUGA, AL 35150 in the U.S. The domain is registered through Melbourne IT, Ltd (R52-LROR) in Australia and the Tech Organization (web host) is Yahoo! Inc.
However, both http://ct-application-form.com (registered 05/07/2015) and http://continental-transit.com (registered 04/07/2015) , the actual real websites used in this scam is registered with Bizcn.com,Inc located in Xiamen, Fujian China on IP address 91.220.131.241 which is hosted with Petersburg Internet Network ltd. in Russia. The actual registrants is using domain privacy on these domains to keep their identity hidden. Below is the screenshots of these 2 websites:
Red Flags Galore On Both continental-transit.com and ct-application-form.com
If you’ll notice on the “Contact Us” page screenshot above found on continental-transit.com, the business address shown is Suite 12 Prague 1-Mala Strana, Vsehrdova, Czech Republic but the phone number listed is a US number +1 (585) 326-0400 which is located in Rochester New York! Also the website was just registered in April 2015, however on their “Testimonials” page they have 6 so-called testimonials from all over the world with one “person” in the U.S. claiming to have happily worked from home shipping packages for Continental Transit Inc for the last YEAR and A HALF!
On the ct-application-form.com page, if you look at the the page description included as meta tags etc in the html source code they are trying to fool potential victims by inserting an obviously fake association with Adecco Employment Agency! The meta description (that gets picked up and shown in the listing by the search engines) says “Search for jobs and apply online with Adecco USA. Fill your company’s hiring needs and post openings with us today!”
Protect yourself from Identity Theft and Save 15% on a VPN from hide.me
Also they have inserted the words “Submit Your Resume-Apply For Jobs Online- Adecco USA files” in all the css styles throughout the entire page! But keep in mind that they are using a frame source page initially using the website http://ct-webappl.org hosted on Yahoo in the US as a decoy for the actual website that is registered in China with an IP address hosted in Russia!
DO NOT ENTER YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS OR APPLY!
http://ct-webappl.org is clearly a phishing website that redirects the personal details entered to possible criminals who are more than likely running a package forwarding/shipping scam through Continental-Transit.com. You can read more about how this scam works at one of our previous posts at Parcelal.com Scam Alert or Premium-Delivery.com Scam Alert.
REPORT MAIL FRAUD!
If you believe you’re a victim of a re-shipping/forwarding scam, file a complaint with Postal Inspectors online or call Postal Inspectors at 1-877-876-2455 (option 4, Mail Fraud).
Also report the scam at http://ic3.gov which is the official site working in conjunction with the FBI to help stop internet crime.

I was also a victim as of today. I had my doubts but trusted this was legit until the day of my first pay. Never received it or got a call back. Very pissed at the moment. I really would like to stop and catch these crooks. I still have all the info sent and received on my email. I just need to know what direction i can go in to stop this from happening to someone else. All that have been a victim to this should step in so we can work on stopping these crooks. I’m more than willing to work with anyone or help to end this.
I’ve already began and investigation with the FBI and Interpol through my local sheriffs office. I filled a fraud claim with the postal service as a start. If you chose direct deposit as a payment method change accounts. Completely close it and start a new one. It Just so happens that the the sheriffs office came into play because the merchandise we are sending was purchased with stolen credit cards and they tracked it product to my address and we were the unsuspecting mules 🙁 Its really bad that people will take advantage of honest people who only wanted to make a legitimate living.
I am so thankful for sites that post the truth about these scammers. It’s really a shame how people abuse the web. Since I’ve graduated HS in 2009 I’ve come across probably every scam while job searching. It’s really sad how they want to dupe people who are just trying to make an honest living. THANK YOU TOP_REC!

Omg this is Horrible! I can’t believe I was apart of a scam
I got contacted by them a little over a month ago. I checked to see if it was scam but couldn’t find anything. So I did the application and the over the phone interview and been receiving packages for a month. I checked the every package the I received it was sports equipment, cameras, video games, etc. Now its time for me to receive my first paycheck and I have not heard from them. So now I do not know what to think nor do I know what to do.
Omg!! This is exactly what happened to me. I was supposed to get paid 2 days ago and have not heard or been able to get in touch with anyone 🙁 I really thought it was legit.
I joined this site about 2 weeks ago and sent off my first 5 packages. Before I joined I tried to find scam or better business info .. but didn’t. But with seeing these notes I am stopping interaction with them at this moment.. and wont get sucked into this stuff ever again…
thanks… once again anything that seems too true to be, is just that
I received this email this morning I had to look it up to make sure it was legit and thanks to this article my suspicion was correct. Thanks dodged a scam
They also called me from all of these numbers 585-326-0400, 585-326-0401 and 585-326-0405. Spoke mostly to Vladislav Fridrich and Petra Zitnik..They got my resume via CareerBuilder as well..Sent me packages. ITS NOT REAL..STAY AWAY!!!!!!
Hello Tonika & all other folks,
I have been receiving email like this ever since I made my resume public. I recommend keeping it private & no more mail like this will be received. It works…people like this are really pathetic. I find that there are more scams than real opportunities which is really sad.
It only takes a second to spot a real scammer like this. I hope that anyone who falls for this will disregard ALL email in the future. Safest thing to remember is that the job market has NOT recovered. Also, don’t you think the overall economy would be much healthier if there were REAL jobs like this?
God bless and keep your chin up!

Im a victim.how do i get it to stop i dont need any problems. I was just hired with this company not even a month yet have not received any pay. But lots of merchandise to reship. Please help me i have a family and not tryibg to go to jail behind a company you think will work for me thank you.
Stop all communication with these people. I would refuse any more packages, don’t open them, take them to the post office and return them to the sender. Report it to the postal inspector and ic3.gov, file a police report, put a fraud alert on your credit report, and if they have your bank account details, close that account and reopen a new account. I would also suggest some identity theft protection such as Lifelock.
